Introduction
Francisco J. García-Rodríguez is Graduate in Economic and Business Science and PhD in Economics and Business Sciences from University of La Laguna in 2002. He is currently Senior Lecturer of the same University and main researcher of the research group Business and Society. He has held various academic administrative positions, including Vice Chancellor of Social Relations, Director of the Department of Economics and Business Management and Deputy Director of the School of Business at the University of La Laguna. He has worked as management consultant and project manager for different organisms in the private and public sector. His current line of research focuses on entrepreneurship and the strategic analysis of the firm from the perspective of social and environmental responsibility.
