Introduction
Francesco Petracchini has obtained the Environmental engineering degree in University Sapienza of Rome in 2002 and a Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences in University Ca Foscary in 2013 with a thesis on air quality pollution in China. He has long experience in research on environment. From 2009 he is the responsible of the Planning Department in CNR-IIA. Since 2015 to 2019 he was also the leader of the bioenergy and circular economy. Now he is Director of Research at CNR-IIA.
