Introduction
I am a marine ecologist, actually working in the framework of the project RAGES (Risk-based Approaches to Good Environmental Status), where I am focusing on testing a risk-based approach for Descriptor 2 (non-indigenous species) in Madeira, in order to support the regional and sub-regional execution of the Marine Strategy Framework Directive, in the Northeast Atlantic. I am also working on the ecology of marine organisms, combining descriptive and experimental field data with statistical models.
