The goal of this project is the improvement of real time information on existing free parking spaces in urban areas. Therefore, modern sensor technologies in vehicles are used. The sphere of activity at the chair of traffic engineering and control contains for example: - Development of algorithms to determine and visualize the current parking place availability. - Data collection of parking search behavior parameters as well as parameters for parking space occupancy. - Development of prognosis measures to determine the parking space availability.
