This project aims to assess promoter and polymorphic regions (5-HTTLPR, STin2, and MAO-A) methylation levels on serotonergic neurotransmission genes before and after an eight-week exercise intervention (from samples gathered in our previous study, see Javelle et al., 2021). These changes in methylation levels will be related to gene transcriptional activity and then to the already detected exercise-induced impulsivity changes.
