I'm a Pharmacist by trade, Doctor in Science with a focus on Research and Development of Bioactive Products. I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Nutritional Sciences and Dietetics, University of Hohenheim.
I am an Alexander von Humboldt alumni at the Department of Food Biofunctionality at the Universität Hohenheim.
My research interests include chromatographic isolation of bioactive compounds, as well as the in vitro and in vivo evaluation of their bioavailability.

Hi,
I have several samples to run RT-PCR, and wanted to know if I can prepare the plates in advance (Sample + Primers + SYBR Green), or if they need to be freshly prepared. Since I have so many samples, I thought maybe I can start preparing plates and then just reading them, without having to wait until the machine is ready to start a new plate.

In this paper, the description for the preparation of the 2,4-quinolinediol reagent is:
"Dissolve 1.50 grams of 2.4- quinolinediol (Aldrich Chemical Co.) in a small quantity of water by adding a minimum amount of dilute sodium hydroxide solution. Adjust the pH to 7-8 by adding dilute hydrochloric acid. Add 15 ml of pyridine and dilute to 50 ml. "
