Project
Using global data repositories (for instance IUCN red list data, etc), we analyze, by systematic reviews and meta-analyses, the macroecology patterns of small mammals (Rodentia and Soricomorpha), with emphasis on issues that may have conservation implications. Our approach is wide and multidisciplinary, and covers most aspects of the ecology and natural history of these mammalian groups. We also analyze interspecific and intraspecific traits, working at a local scale or at a meso scale, in order to highlight the eventual role of intraspecific and interspecific competition in shaping ecological coexistence of small mammal communities.
