Introduction
Our research interests lie at the intersection of mechanics, computational materials science, and solid state physics. We integrate a blend of classical and quantum mechanical methods to uncover atomistic mechanisms that govern structural and electronic properties of solids and heterogeneous materials. Our objective is to understand fundamental mechanisms at the atomistic scales and apply the understanding to guide macroscopic design of materials and structures with new or improved functionality

I created the structure in both (100) and (110) direction. But could not perfectly do the 111 direction. The bond length is not getting correct. Btw I use MATLAB to create coordinates.

Design and fabrication of heterogeneous materials and evaluate their behavior under various thermal conditions. Also find their crack propagation under non linear loading. We are now finding anisotropic fracture strength and toughness of 3C-SiC using molecular dynamics calculation.
