This thesis proposes a method for handling logically conflicting inputs into knowledge bases in a compromised way. The method revises finite bases which are subjected to some integrity constraints, and performs a reconciliation of the conflicting data, by allowing the consistent logical consequences of the given up database elements or inputs, to u...
This paper discusses about the use of knowledge management (KM) for decision support, and claims that finite-base revision can be seen as a relevant approach for KM, in order to handle consistency in knowledge bases. To support this claim, this paper revisits an application-specific mechanism for base revision, which caters for applications where c...

This paper proposes a method for handling logically conflicting inputs into knowledge bases. Basically, it concerns reconciling conflicting inputs with the underlying theory, via restricting their consequences.
