Girehs are an important esthetic tool in Islamic architecture. The introduction of deformable Girehs can be considered as a significant solution in the areas of flexibility and authenticity in contemporary architecture. By investigating the configurations of different Girehs based on their configurational authenticity, the present study presents a...

Deployability of reciprocal frame (RF) structures can aid in the creation of multifunctional architectures, satisfy the needs of flexible architectures, and adapt to climatic and environmental conditions. However, changes in the perimeter of a structure during deployed and retracted states may result in low efficiency in architectural design and li...

As architectural elements, bridges have served as connective structures since old times. The functional value of bridges is a reason why researchers have paid insufficient attention to environmental and climatic factors despite the fact that bridges are directly affected by contextual conditions in terms of their form and structure. It is not surpr...

So that the truth of heaven appears in the material form and the architecture of the garden. Contrary to the simple appearance...
Thesis
In recent years, kinetic structures have gained significant attention in architecture due to their ability to create flexible and adaptive architecture. These structures have been increasingly utilized in various architectural fields. One notable type is the Reciprocal Frame (RF) structure, a spatial configuration that spans large openings using fl...
