IMHO, why has this issue been kept unclear until now? As long as I know, since a long time ago, its logic flow still refers to this order: Introduction, Methodology, Result & Discussion, and Conclusion. So where are the difference?

There are several aspects we use to define what "location" is:
- A location that determined with its relatives.
- A location that determined with an address.
- A location that determined with (x;y;z) in a particular coordinate system
I proposed a new perspective on how we determined a location: metaphor-psychological location.

Buku ini disusun pada mulanya sebagai upaya merapikan dokumentasi kegiatan belajar mengajar di Pascasarjana Teknik Geomatika Departemen Teknik Geodesi Fakultas Teknik Universitas Gadjah Mada. Selain itu, untuk menambah literatur di bidang Teknik Geomatika yang telah lama kosong. Buku yang pernah diterbitkan terkait bidang ini di lingkungan Departemen Teknik Geodesi UGM adalah Proyeksi Peta oleh Aryono Prihandito (TAHUN), Sistem Basis Data oleh Waljiyanto (TAHUN) dan paling akhir adalah “the legend” Ilmu Ukur Tanah oleh Slamet Basuki (TAHUN). Boleh juga disebut bahwa buku ini akan menyandang predikat sebagai katalog yang menyediakan informasi awal kepada calon mahasiswa dan -tentu saja- orang tua/wali dari calon mahasiswa tentang Teknik Geomatika.
