Wind pressure coefficients (Cp) are essential data for airflow network modeling in buildings. CpSimulator comprises a set of tools for performing fully unattended computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations of the atmospheric boundary layer and getting reliable Cp data on buildings for real scenarios. El presente proyecto propone desarrollar nuevas metodologías y herramientas computacionales para la optimización de la eficiencia energética de edificios. Para alcanzar este objetivo general se proponen tres objetivos específicos: i) Acoplar algoritmos de optimización numérica con metamodelos (modelos simplificados de un modelo más complejo) para tomar decisiones diseño edilicias óptimas de forma automática. Aplicando las precisas decisiones de diseño así obtenidas, se alcanzarán mejoras considerables en la eficiencia energética del edificio atendiendo simultáneamente a garantizar el confort de sus ocupantes y minimizar el impacto ambiental del edificio en todo su ciclo de vida. ii) Desarrollar modelos matemáticos y computacionales para simular el fenómeno de la ventilación natural en edificios en regiones templadas y cálidas de Argentina, ya que la misma es una estrategia pasiva relevante para el ahorro de energía en edificios. iii) Generar una base de datos climática a futuro para su uso en simulaciones del desempeño de edificios, dicha base permitirá no solo predecir el impacto del cambio climático en el desempeño de los edificios, sino que permitirá desarrollar tecnologías para poder adaptarnos al mismo.
