Introduction
Fabrice is working on GNSS signal processing issues since 1998. He obtained his PhD in 2002 for his works dealing with models and properties of GPS signal digital tracking loops. During the last 20 years, his main fields of interest were the research, development and characterization of GNSS signal processing techniques, and the development of receiver prototypes on versatile technologies.

GNSS is entering into a period of intense change over the next 5-10 years which will impact on users and operators of high-end GNSS equipment. For many years, GPS and GLONASS existed as the only systems. However, all is set to change with the advent of new global and regional systems (Galileo, Compass, IRNSS, GINS and QZSS), augmentation services a...
With the multiplication of navigation systems (GPS, GALILEO, GLONASS, QZSS, ...) the variety of radio navigation signals to be received increases greatly and involves 8 frequency bands and about 20 different signals. The paper presents an innovative receiver architecture resting on a full flexibility concept, allowing any tracking channel to be all...

Future GPS, Glonass, Compass and Galileo signals will use basically five modulations: BPSK, BOC, CBOC, TMBOC and AltBOC. This is the reason why future precise and robust GNSS receivers have to implement new tracking architecture compatible with all these signals. Most of the BPSK and BOC tracking architectures which have been widely studied up to n...
In this paper we present objectives and strategies of the NAVELEC research project co-funded by the European GNSS Supervisory Authority with funding from the 6th Framework Programme of the European Community for Research and Technological Development. The project objective is to assess how the European Global Navigation Satellite System related sol...
The Binary Offset Carrier or BOC modulation, defined as the product between the spreading code and a squared sub-carrier, is currently seen as a serious candidate for many future RadioNavigation signals, including several GALILEO signals as well as the GPS M-Code. This modulation has been studied last year by M3Systems under CNES contract, leading...
Several BOC(n,m) signals are planned for future GNSS systems, with integer reference values of n and m,
including BOC(10,5) for the GPS M-code, BOC(2,2) for the baseline open GALILEO signal, flexible BOC(n,m) for Galileo's PRS signal and possibly an alternative BOC(a,b) for GALILEO in the E5 bands (E5a/L5 and E5b). The values of a and b are release...
We will present in this paper a new real-time method in order to minimize the error of code or carrier phase measurements provide by Phase Lock Loop (PLL) and Delay Lock Loop (DLL) systems. The method is able to automatically and dynamically set the loop filter parameters of PLL and DLL in order to minimize the total error of phase measurements by...
The purpose of this paper is to present a new systematic, low cost and real-time adaptive algorithm to automatically set the loop filters parameters of the phase lock loops or delay lock loops used in synchronization systems like GPS. The aim of this method is to compute the loop filter coefficients which minimize the power of the thermal noise wit...
CNES ( The French Space Agency) enter in an active GPS space navigation experiments period. The use of GPS has been decided for operational navigation of the CNES/Alcatel PROTEUS platform. CNES also decided to participate in the GPS navigation experiment of the ARD capsule (Atmospheric Reentry Demonstrator : ESA/CNES program) launched by the third...
We describe the development of multisensor antennas in a specified band of frequencies using beamforming and processing techniques. This method is based on the spatial positioning of omnidirectional transducers and the use of specific professing in order to maintain the directivity diagram constant over the whole frequency band of interest. The dig...
