Introduction
I am physicist by education and I have worked in different areas: Cosmology (1992-1994), Radiation protection and radiobiology (1995-1999), atmospheric physics and air quality (1999-2007), security of gas supply (2007-2010), renewable energies (2010-2016) and since 2017 back in the business of air quality. Since 2000, I have focused on data analysis and modelling in support to policy making, earlier in ENEA and now in the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission.
