This study presents an analysis of the discomfort in the use of a cheese grater. Data was collected using a protocol of perceived discomfort and the results show that the subjects with no experience in cooking reported more experiences of discomfort and higher intensity than the subjects with experience in cooking.

Os azulejos do centro histórico de São Luís tenham sido objetivo de vários estudos das instituições de ensino e pesquisa locais, embora ainda há muito mais a ser feito, especialmente no sentido de sensibilizar a população para quesitos imateriais dos azulejos: a importância, beleza e história destas peças. Os muitos trabalhos publicados (livros, artigos e notas científicas) tratam especialmente do aspecto quantitativo dos azulejos, além da sua origem e preservação, mas pouca informação é alcançada sobre os elementos artísticos que compõem as peças. Este projeto associado objetiva ampliar o conhecimento acerca da história e confecção dos azulejos do centro histórico de São Luís, relacionando os elementos fitomórficos presentes nestes objetos com a flora do país de origem.
