Introduction
Evelyne Shamier is preparing a PhD dissertation on representations of the world's seas in Neerlandophone literatures, by a theoretical foundation in which blue ecocriticism, postcolonial and decolonial theory intersect. With a systematic transcontinental research prism and a focus on multi-voice perspectives, this research project employs a new inclusional approach to Dutch Studies. Evelyne Shamier teaches Dutch Literature at Utrecht University and she co-produces the podcast ‘Leest spreekt’.
