Introduction
From April 2004 to June 2005 research fellow at the University of Bari. Scientific activity is mainly focused on the crystal chemical characterization of silicate minerals, especially phyllosilicates. The emphasis is on the speciation of transition elements in minerals, on the investigation of their role in the crystal-structure, on the identifications of substitution mechanisms operating, on the relationship between crystal chemical features and formation environment.
