Introduction
My research has mainly focused on some topics: Italian Fascism and its nationalization of masses; Nationalism in the XX-century political systems; Public use of history and memory; Social history of sport; History of associations, particularly mutual aid societies; Works and thought of Antonio Gramsci. I have conducted my research in many archives, both in Italy and abroad, as well as on print, oral, and audiovisual sources. I am editorial manager of the ICSR Mediterranean Knowledge
