Introduction
My research interests cover multisensory and cross-modal integration and sonification design, particularly applied to multimodal and interactive technologies, for education and rehabilitation purposes and music therapy. My focus in last years was mainly on developmental age and sonification strategies to improve learning outcomes and executive functions development in both typical and sensory impaired users.

Description
  • Research activity developed in the framework of MULTIPLAT_AGE project. Main tasks consisted in coordination of the WPs and research protocols of each partners, design and development of the WP's in charge of the Galliera Hospital, creating a protected domotic home-like discharge model, PRO-HOME. In addition, my research also extends to the DanzArte project, funded by Fondazione San Paolo, for the motor and cognitive activation of the frail elderly, based on movement and gesture sonification.
