Introduction
My research for 25 years has focused on the mutations of peasant societies and organizations, through collective action approaches and the theory of reciprocity. Then, I studied the renewal of rural development policies, the interactions between farmers organizations and public policies in Brazil. My recent works concern the analysis of public policies promoting the adaptation of agriculture to climate change in Latin America, especially the agro-ecological transition & agroecology instruments.
