Introduction
I hold a keen interest in population issues and have a master's and a doctorate in Population science. My major research interests are gender-based issues specially violence against women, menstrual hygiene management, women’s nutrition, and sex ratios. My doctoral thesis focuses on the consequences of declining sex ratios on marriage practices and trends in India, especially male marriage squeeze in Punjab and Haryana.
