This study introduces a novel hybrid soft-computing model integrating Fuzzy C-Means (FCM) clustering, Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), and Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) to enhance student academic performance prediction in higher education. We developed a hybrid FCM-PSO-ANFIS model using a comprehensive dataset encompassing pre-ad...

Education Institutions have deployed technology accelerated learning systems and innovations for effective learning outcomes. Evaluating student’s performance in these systems must align with the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor learning domains. In this research, a Hybrid soft computing system comprising of the Clustering Algorithm, Machine l...

The growing subscriptions for cellular communication services have been remarkable globally. This development has placed immense pressure on the network providers to optimally position the radio transmitters to deliver quality services to mobile subscribers. The conventional cellular network planning techniques are prone to errors and incapable of...

Computer industry has made spectacular progress in short time. During the first two decades of their existence. Computer systems were highly centralized, usually within the single large room. The merging of computers and communications has had a profound influence on the way computer systems are organized. The old model of a single computer servin...

Wireless cellular communication technology has developed into a very resourceful commodity worldwide. Today, people of all races can hardly live without means of voice and data cellular communication technology. Imprecise propagation loss estimation leads to high power waste, high co-channel interference and poor service quality in cellular communi...

This paper proposes the use of adaptive kernel in a meshsize boostingalgorithm in kernel density estimation. The algorithm is a bias reductionscheme like other existing schemes but uses adaptive kernel instead of theregular fixed kernels. An empirical study for this scheme is conducted andthe findings are comparatively attractive.

As a result of techno logical advancements in wireless networks there has been an increasing interest in the inter -connecion of computers through the wireless medium. Since its debut in the late 1990s, wireless technology has become as much a necessity as the wired technology. Each new iteration of wireless technology brings with it new features l...
