The process of integration of industrial and service robots into the production process is not possible without the application of high technological knowledge in the field of production processes and systems, but equally, if not more without high knowledge in the field of modeling, optimization, simulation, new technology and new technological knowledge and data. which include techniques for modeling and managing intelligent systems The result of these changes and the strong implementation of knowledge in all production phases and flows give increasing efficiency of the company and competitiveness in the global market. Today, only the best can survive on the market who have automated their production processes through the application of robots and thus achieved that they are cheaper, better, faster, more flexible, more intelligent, more innovative. This project integrates new technologies such as industrial and service robots into production processes from the point of view of production optimization and modernization of production processes and systems.

Host university: University Džemal Bijedić, Bosnia and Herzegovina Industrial partner: Masterwerk Supporting companies: Kalim and MBT BH – DKR Task: Develop innovative modular solar powered car port systems for electric and hybrid vehicles which could be produced globally and flexibly used in variety of applications. Project objectives and goals The students will engage in a variety of design research methods in various outdoor environments to discover business potential for existing and new modular car port systems with solar power charging and battery energy storage. The focus will be on the good industrial design considering modularity and simplicity, cost efficient and robust structural design and efficient battery energy storage. The topic is broad allowing students the freedom to explore the overall product environment, with expectations that they identify and define for themselves a meaningful theme for exploration and development. By the end of the course in June 2019, each student group will produce one working prototype of the solar powered car port system based on their specific vision. The manufacturing of elements of prototypes will be mostly done by company Kalim Profil and will be supervised by the University of Mostar staff and realised jointly by Kalim Profil and Masterwerk and the participating Universities. The prototypes are tested during the final workshop which will was held at the University Džemal Bijedić in Mostar.

Tema Projekta je bio razvoj hibridnog sistema obnovljivih izvora enegije za zgrade gotovo nulte energije, pri čemu se kao poligon za istraživanja koristila zgrada Mašinskog fakuteta u Mostaru. Pored drugih elemenata koji definišu objekte gotovo nulte energije, poseban problem predstavlja proizvodnja energije za vlastite potrebe. U okviru ovog projekta je definisan hibridni sistem za proizvodnju energije za vlastite potrebe objekta, koji koristi solarnu energiju za zagrijavanje vode i proizvodnju struje (solarni kolektori i fotonaponski paneli), energiju vjetra za proizvodnju struje (mali horizontalni ili vertikalni vjetrogeneratori), te toplotne pumpe koje koriste geotermalnu energiju vode ili tla u okolini objekta. Analiza efikasnosti i rentabilnosti cjelokupnog sistema, kao i njegovih pojedinih komponeneti se izvodila na pilot postrojenju, koje je napravljeno nadogradnjom i usavršavanjem postojećeg postrojenja na zgradi Mašinskog fakulteta u Mostaru. Na bazi rezultata provedenih istraživanja, u završnoj fazi projekta je napravljen model optimalnog postrojenja za proizvodnju vlastite energije za bilo koji objekat, te se testirala njegova efikasnost, kapacitet, isplativost, itd.
