Happiness, well-being, and life-satisfaction are the current health buzz-words, but what is really being done? How many companies measure employee wellness? Which industries are interested in Employee well-being, and which industries give it lip-service? Aside from Bhutan, which nations are focused on doing something about focusing on common good as a profit in itself? Which metrics can reliably measure well-being?

In an effort to imagine a school not based on Newtonian assumptions of growth and development. A quantum school would focus on relationships, place, local resources and challenges, and would require rigorous critical thought and analysis. The goal would be to encourage a love of place and a love of learning, and to teach students essential skills to thrive as a humans, such as higher order thinking skills, care for all Earthings, creativity, and dexterity.
