Introduction
Emilia Cioroaica currently works at the Department of Embedded Systems Quality Assurance at Fraunhofer IESE ( Institute for Experimental Software Engineering ). Former isolated embedded systems are equipped with open interfaces that enable communication and collaboration. In this way Collaborative System Groups (CSG) are created. Being part of Smart Ecosystems (SES), embedded systems, part of CSGs benefit from collaborative goals of other embedded systems with which they are exchanging functions and data. Collaboration helps achieving enhanced business goals with benefits for end-users and companies. On the other hand, in context of SESs, embedded systems interact with other systems with competitive goals.
