Introduction
Emanuela Saita currently works at the Department of Psychology, Catholic University of the Sacred Heart . Emanuela does research in Health Psychology. She has been working with disadvantaged subjects, in particular cancer patients, survivors, and their caregivers and inmates who presents emotional matters. From 2006 she has been using Phototherapy methods, the aims of these methods are to empower the subject’s resilience, and to facilitate to express emotions, thus promoting the recognizing of the others emotions, to transforme dysfunctional coping skills in functional coping skills facing stressful events.
