Introduction
Currently a Lecturer in Secondary PE ITT and a Research Associate in Weight Stigma and Physical Activity at the University of Sunderland. I have a PhD in Sport and Exercise Sciences and PGCert in Lifelong Learning. My research focuses on PE teacher's backgrounds and perceptions of Teaching Games for Understanding using Occupational Socialisation. Research interests include game-based teaching models in PE, health & physical activity and equality, diversity and inclusion in PE/sport.
