Evaluar el estado actual del hábitat mediante la realización de un análisis de integridad biológica en fragmentos de bosque seco tropical de la zona del Magdalena Medio de Colombia (departamento de Caldas). Específicamente se pretende: 1. Caracterizar la vegetación de cada uno de los fragmentos de bosque seco identificados, 2. Caracterizar la diversidad biológica de fauna (moluscos, peces, anfibios, reptiles, aves y mamíferos) en los fragmentos de bosque de la zona. 3. Diseñar e implementar un índice de integridad biológica que permita generar un escenario de evaluación y comparación de los aportes en biodiversidad de cada uno de los fragmentos de bosque.
