Introduction
My research interests are: • The redesign of personalised performance garments using seamless knitwear programs. • The integration of Design for Disassembly (DFD) frameworks within knitwear and fashion design. • Designing out obsolescence, through the development of physically and emotionally durable garments. • Facilitation of fibre-fibre recycling through the development of waste processing tools. Whilst all vary, the recurrent theme is to reduce pre / post consumer textiles waste.
