I am the Director of E-Governance and Sustainability Institute-ESI and a Professor at the Department of Government Affairs and Administration, the Jusuf Kalla School of Government, Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY), Yogyakarta, Indonesia. He has two research projects. Firstly, it focuses on political ecology, sustainability and green politics. Secondly, it looks at smart city and social media phenomena.
