This paper overviews the kinematics and workspace computer simulation of a small-size humanoid robot named KUBO. This bipedal walking platform has 20 degrees of freedom (DOF) and is powered by servomotors that perform reliable torque and precise motion. Made entirely from aluminum and assembled with commercial off-the-shelf actuators and sensors, K...
This paper overviews the mechanics of humanoid robot ZERO. ZERO is a bipedal walking platform with 21 degrees of freedom (DOF) powered by servomotors that perform reliable torque and precise motion. Made entirely from aluminum, it is lightweight (5.5 kg) and compact (height: 60 cm, width: 33 cm) while strong and robust. ZERO is capable of moving fo...

Question (1)
Hello, congratulations for this great project! I'm curious about the portability of this tactile display, specifically the power supply/consumption. I've read it uses Li-ion batteries and it previously used 1.7 W per taxel before latching system was implemented.
