Introduction
Project: ORGANIC AND CONVENTIONAL FARMING SYSTEMS FOR GOAT MILK PRODUCTION On the basis of the goat behaviour, welfare and monitored production parameters we will assess the suitability of the srnasta breed for breeding in organic or conventional way. In the last year of the project, we will evaluate all obtained research data and disseminate the findings in the form of the recommended technological instructions separately for each way of rearing.

The Slovenian karst region and similar types of land are difficult to cultivate and often exposed to the process of being abandoned and overgrown with shrubs, trees and brushwood. Co-grazing in a mixed group may be a way to optimize the management of sheep and goat flocks in such areas. In order to obtain more knowledge of the natural behavior of s...
