Supramolecular chemistry is one of the most vigorous and fast-growing fields in chemistry.It is of great interest to study when four/six/eight or more functional groups are present on one single molecule/macrocycle. Certainly it will exhibit some extra binding properties (which are yet to be discovered).Wecan design and synthesize some novel supramolecular assemblies derived from Calix system for simultaneous detection, extraction, separation and preconcentration of various toxic or detrimental ions from aqueous environmentalis the current description of the project. Synthesis of Novel series of Supramolecular receptors based on Calix derivatives (by suitable substitution and further functionalization) by conventional method as well as by Microwave technique than after Purification of compounds will be done either by crystallization or column chromatography and Characterization of the synthesized compound by CHN, FT-IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, Mass spectroscopyand if possible by single crystal X ray. Study their binding behavior by pH metry, Spectrofluorometery and spectrophotometry also Synthesis the Nanoparticle from calix system and then after Liquid liquid extraction and solid phase extraction based on potentiometric /spectrophotometric investigation.Gujarat being hub of Pharmaceutical and chemicals Industries, the binding behavior of these calix systems at nano scale can be exploited by using them as vehicle for drug delivery and chemosensor as well as various analytes. Supramolecules assembly has lots of application because of their multifunctional group and binding site.Their industrial, analytical and biological application.
