Introduction
I investigate the evolutionary processes involving isolated or rapidly expanding populations. I am particularly interested upon specific adaptations in populations under strong selective pressures. My main models are varied: mammals, such as wild boar, reptiles, such as lizards and birds in some cases. I make use of field and laboratory data and techniques such as observation, morphology and genetics. I try to realize my studies so that result can serve as useful tools for conservation biology.
