Formulas for the intercardinal deviations of two controlled
gyrocompasses with one and two horizon indicators are obtained for the
case of regular rolling. Under the conditions investigated, the
gyrocompass with a single horizon indicator is shown to be more accurate
than the instrument with two horizon indicators.
