Tags, when properly assigned to limited access papers, help users to estimate their relevance. This paper introduces a new approach for the selection of relevant tags as well as a recommendation for scientific papers tagging. The approach defines the relatedness between the tags attributed by users and the concepts extracted from the available sect...
In this paper a novel approach for relevant tags selection and recommendation for scientific papers tagging is proposed. This approach describes the relationship between user-attributed tags and concepts derived from the limited access paper sections available based on certain parameters are: the frequency, the position, the co-occurrence and the s...
Nowadays, the reality of getting everything rapidly imposes itself upon getting information. The access to relevant information requires its valuable representation and management. Recent description methods based on tags may have a better impact on the information access task if they are attributed adequately. In order to overcome the categorizati...
The evolution of information retrieval is intimately linked to the evolution of the Web. Although the involvement of different context dimensions in the improvement of the search task was greatly studied, the abundant development of hardware and software opens ways to explore new contextual dimensions. This paper presents the different contextual d...
The problem addressed in this thesis takes part from the contextual information retrieval field and it aims to contribute in improving the search results through the consideration of several contextual dimensions which can affect user’s search behavior on the Web. The search context may include several dimensions such as time, location, history of...
This paper proposes a solution to a problem frequently asked in the field of the information search on the Web that is the ambiguity of user queries. The exploitation of the current search context of the user in order to identify his information need which is expressed often through short and ambiguous queries constitutes the main contribution of t...
In this paper; we propose a solution to one of the most known problems in information retrieval field which is the ambiguity of short queries. In fact, short queries are often ambiguous and their execution by search tools engenders a lot of noise. The proposed contribution consists of a query expansion approach that exploits the recent browsing his...
In this paper, we propose a contextual modelling of the user browsing behaviour aiming to identify the user's information needs from his real-time context focusing on two parameters that are the recent interests and the temporal events that may influence the user browsing behaviour. Modelling the search behaviour of the user through these parameter...
In this paper, we describe the work done in the Web search personalization field. The proposed approach purpose is the understanding
and identifying the user search needs using some information sources such as the search history and the search context focusing
on temporal factor. These informations consist mainly of the day and the time of day. Con...

Hello,
I would like to calculate the weights of the nodes in a weighted graph, each node receives incoming arcs weighted with either 1, -1 or 0. Could you please suggest a weighting formula that takes into account the weights of these arcs to calculate the weight of the node. Thank you
The library that I'am seeking for serves to make a conceptual indexing.
