Introduction
Experienced biologist with a PhD in Biomedical sciences (Institute of Tropical Medicine in Antwerp, Belgium and University of Maastricht, The Netherlands). She is also member of the Institute of Tropical Medicine “Alexander Von Humboldt” (IMTAvH) - UPCH. Since 2003, she is the director of the Malaria Laboratory (Malaria Lab) at UPCH. Malaria Lab carries out multidisciplinary studies in malaria looking for better diagnostic tools and to understand transmission dynamics in the Peruvian Amazon.
