The fungus gnat genus Allactoneura is basically Afro-Oriental in distribution, extending into the eastern Palaearctic, New Guinea and northern Australia. New data on the distribution of Allactoneura argentosquamosa, A. akasakana, A. cincta and A. formosana are presented. A. akasakana is discussed as probable synonym of A. argentosquamosa.
Checklist of the dragonflies (Order Odonata) of the Sarnena Sredna Gora and its adjacent areas contains 26 species from 7 families: Calopterygidae (2 sp.), Coenagrionidae (7 sp.), Lestidae (1 sp.), Platycnemididae (1 sp.), Aeshnidae (1 sp.), Gomphydae (4 sp.) and Libellulidae (10 sp.).

The current paper presents faunistic data (localities, vertical distribution, vegetation belts and seasonal activity) for 250 fungus gnats species of the family Mycetophilidae known for Bulgaria till the year 2009.
