Several therapeutic approaches have been developed to promote bone regeneration, including guided bone regeneration (GBR), where barrier membranes play a crucial role in segregating soft tissue and facilitating bone growth. This study emphasizes the importance of considering specific tissue requirements in the design of materials for tissue regener...
This study reports the fabrication and characterization of poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) and gelatin (Gel)-based nanofiber membranes cross-linked with citric acid (CA) by a green electrospinning method in which nano 45S5 bioglass (BG) and urea were incorporated. Various combinations of PVA, gelatin, and BG were prepared, and nanofiber membranes with av...
Bone has a dynamic structure, since it is remodelled during the lifespan to sustain its structure and function. Extracellular matrix (ECM) is playing a tremendously important role, such as cell adhesion, immobilization of growth factors and nucleation of mineralization in bone development phase. It consists of proteins and leads the bone remodellin...

I am currently doing a theoretical research on the electrospinning of chitosan. As a result of my research, I found out that there are too many parameters that affect the process (Molecular weight of chitosan, deacetylation degree of chitosan, solvent type, and the proportion of the mixed solvents and many others). Since the solvents are very expensive and I only have medium weight chitosan, I really need your advice from your previous experiences. Thank you in advance.
Since research grade collagen and gelatin are quite expensive and i have to import which means it will take much time i am searching for alternatives. Can collagen hydrolysate or gelatin hydrolysate be alternatives to collagen and gelatin?
Thank you in advance..
The aim is to produce solvent cast scaffolds for bone tissue engineering. The prices for solution and powder forms of the materials differ drastically. That's why beforeI buy the raw materials I want to be sure of this detail. Thank you very much in advance.
