Bajo el título de “Bienestar y desigualdad en Chile después de la independencia, c.1810-2020”, este proyecto buscar analizar un conjunto amplio de variables que han incidido en las condiciones de vida de la población chilena desde inicios del siglo XIX a la actualidad, así como ponderar su carácter multidimensional. En particular, esta investigación busca analizar la evolución de largo plazo de variables claves como salarios reales, estatura, educación, expectativa de vida, mortalidad, calidad de las instituciones políticas y la dimensión medioambiental, entre otras. Aun cuando en la última década se han realizado importantes avances en la recolección y análisis de información histórica sobre esos indicadores para un gran número de países (Better Life Initiative, de la OCDE, a través de ClioInfra), la información disponible sobre esas variables para nuestro país es escasa o incluso inexistente en varios casos, pese a las valiosas contribuciones recientes en materia de estadísticas históricas.​

To describe the plans of action developed to endow the country with an institutionality and infrastructure capable of permitting the operation of commercial aviation in Chile. 2. To analyze the objectives and relevant actors in the formulation and implementation of Chilean commercial aviation policy. 3. To identify the direct, indirect and induced economic objectives, sought by the Chilean State through the fostering of commercial aviation. 4. Este proyecto presenta un análisis de las modificaciones que la administración pública chilena vivió entre 1920 y 1931, principalmente en la transición entre el fin del gobierno de Arturo Alessandri (1920-1925), la presidencia de Emiliano Figueroa (1925-1927) y el período de Carlos Ibáñez del Campo (1927-1931). Su principal foco de interés es analizar las principales características de este proceso, los rasgos de diseño institucional adoptados y las causas que llevaron a una modificación de la institucionalidad administrativa. De igual forma, este proyecto busca entender la reforma estatal del período en el largo plazo, intentando responder si éste fue un proceso que se inició como fruto de un cambio social mayor o si, por el contrario, cuenta con aspectos de continuidad con el proyecto de modernización administrativa impulsada por José Manuel Balmaceda entre 1886 y 1891.
