Introduction
My research interests include studying (investigating and developing) algorithmic systems used in public services, especially the child-welfare system. My current research explores the collaborative work of child-welfare teams that participate in meetings mediated by policy, practice, and algorithms. My work in this area is driven by Human-Centered Data Science (HCDS) because it is imperative to understand the nuances and context that accompany each case. (Website - www.saxena.io)
