Our laboratory is currently investigating the impact of stress hormones on bacterial pathogens. Following the administration of stress hormone treatments, we conducted RNA sequencing analysis to examine gene expression. We have obtained the gene expression data and are now keen on understanding the pathways these genes contribute to, particularly in terms of virulence, pathogenesis, and antimicrobial resistance (AMR).
I am trying to quantify bacteria based on the fluorescence emitted by GFP expressing bacteria. I want to quench any background fluorescence from the media to make sure that my fluorescence data really reflect the no. of GFP expressing bacteria and not for the media in which bacteria are grown. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks
