Introduction
Declan A Connolly currently works as Program Director of Physical Education, Sports Leadership & Coaching at The University of Vermont. He is also the Director of the UVM Human Performance Lab. Declan does research in Muscle Damage and Recovery, Nutrition and Dietetics, Rehabilitation Medicine and Sports Medicine and Athlete Performance. He is also Head Coach of UVM Men's Rugby. His most recent publications include: 'Food and Fluid Intake During Extreme Heat: Experiences From The Badwater Ultramarathon', and a new book 'Heart Rate Training'.
