Introduction
David Zabala-Blanco received the PhD degree in telecommunication engineering from Tecnologico de Monterrey, Mexico in 2018. During 2019 until 2020, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Universidad Católica del Maule, Chile. He was appointed as an Assistant Professor in 2021 at the Department of Computer Science and Industry, Universidad Católica del Maule. His research interest includes OFDM modulation, optical communications, Nyquist-I pulses, and extreme learning machines.
