Prof. David Mecerreyes is the head of the Innovative Polymers Group and scientific Vicedirectorof POLYMAT-University of the Basque Country (Spain). He did his PhD at the University of Liege-Belgium (1998), a post-doctoral stay at IBM Almaden and Stanford Unviersity (2000) and oint CIDETEC-IK4 as Ramon y Cajal researcher until 2010. Then he moved to POLYMAT in 2011 as Ikerbasque Research Professor, where he is currently the Scientific Vice-Director.
