Introduction
Darpak Joshi is currently Junior Research Fellow at Gujarat Ecological Education and Research (GEER) foundation under the project 'Ecological monitoring of Estuaries of major rivers of Gujarat' funded by Department of Forest and Environment, and Climate Change. He joined GEER foundation as Technical assistant under project 'Biodiversity Conservation and Rural Livelihood Improvement' funded by World Bank. Having done Bachelors and Masters in Zoology from Gujarat University, he has in depth knowledge on several topics viz. Amphibian diversity, Reptilian diversity, Mammalian diversity, and Avifauna diversity. During his research tenure he has published four research papers in International and National Journals.
