Introduction
I am PhD in Social Psychology, Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology and Education, and currently full time researcher at the Internet Interdisciplinary Institute (IN3) at Open University of Catolonia. My background as a researcher is on STS. In the last 10 years I’ve been doing research on the technoscientific construction of later life, the coproduction of new care technologies for older and disabled people and citizen-led design and innovation practices.

CUIDAR is a European wide project aiming to enhance the resilience of children, young people and urban societies to disasters and enable disaster responders to meet children and young people’s needs more effectively. CANDID (http://candid.no & https://cordis.europa.eu/project/id/732561) explored how extended networks and peer communities are integrated (or not) in the development of 'smart' technology, and how various forms of knowledge may impact on framing and use scenarios. The project brought together researchers in the social sciences and humanities, practitioners from the ICT sector and a whole range of technology users, explorers and developers.
