Introduction
Dr. Daniel Deutsch taught music composition and theory in the Three Village Central School District (Stony Brook, NY) until his retirement in 2013. He was founding chair of the National Association for Music Education's Council for Music Composition. He was also the founding chair of the New York State School Music Association's Composition/Improvisation Committee.
