Cuong Huu Nguyen earned his PhD in Education from The University of New South Wales, and his Master of Assessment and Evaluation from The University of Melbourne, Australia. His research interests are in higher education policy, quality assurance and accreditation, assessment and evaluation, educational leadership and management, and human resource development in education. Cuong is now Acting Head of the Quality Assurance Department, Van Lang University, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

This book provides an overview and critical analysis of Vietnamese higher education quality assurance under the centralised management of the government after 15 years of development. It also outlines the future of quality assurance in Vietnam's higher education.
This INQAAHE funded project aims to investigate in-depth the operation, quality management and regulations aspects of joint programs between Vietnamese universities and overseas partners.
