Introduction
I am a sociologist, with interests in the changing status and role of women in contemporary societies. I research into violence against women, focusing on femicide as a social phenomenon, including different theories of femicide and their impact on social research. My most recent work has focused on the development of policies to prevent violence against women and its connection with feminism and women's movements.
